THE PANTRY
Groceries for Those in Need
The Pantry at Saint Bernadette provides groceries to families in need throughout the Buffalo Southtowns. The Pantry is located inside door #4 on the west side of the church, off the rear parking lot.

The Pantry is busiest at Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, but we help families all throughout the year, and welcome donations year-round.
The Pantry is supplied 100% through the generosity of donations. Donations are accepted at all church entrances throughout the week, or at The Pantry by appointment. All non-expired, non-perishable food items are welcomed. In particular, we are in need of:
-
Canned fruit;
-
Canned vegetables;
-
Canned or jar spaghetti sauce; and,
-
Canned soup.

We have recently begun accepting paper products, such as toilet paper and paper towels, and personal care products, such as soap and shampoo, which are always appreciated.

Gift and gas cards are also very helpful to our families, as are cash gifts.

We welcome volunteers to help us with our ministry - volunteers meet the first Monday of each month in the Monsignor Nugent room at 9:30am.
