The Altar and Rosary Society at Saint Bernadette is a group of prayerful, fun-loving, caring women.
We begin each meeting by praying the rosary. After the Rosary, we conduct a business meeting and enjoy planned activities.
Money raised is used to purchase and clean linens, altar cloths and vestments. Additional donations are made to other parish needs, events and charitable works.

We meet to discuss life topics. The prepared agendas lead to lively discussion and growth in friendship.

This group offers widows and widowers a safe place to find healing from loss and rediscover the joys of life. We go out to lunch once a month, and attend various religious and social events in the community. Please check the bulletin for weekly activity times.

Grief is not a timed, planned, or structured event, but rather a human experience of profound loss and love. GriefShare, Our Journey from Mourning to Joy, is a program involving a short video, discussion, and sharing with others on a similar journey. All are welcome, whether new or experienced in the journey.

The Society is a member of the Buffalo Diocesan Union of Holy Name Societies. We are dedicated to promoting the spiritual welfare of the parish through spiritual and social activities. Men above the age of 18 are invited to join!

We seek to raise awareness and offer opportunities to get involved in matters involving social justice. The committee hosts discussion nights, sponsors blood drives, works with Habitat for Humanity, and sells fair trade coffee/tea/chocolate.
