Our children receive the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time in third grade.

Children are prepared during their weekly gatherings or at home in our Family Faith Formation program.

We utilize the Blessed First Communion Program which includes a colorful workbook and short videos.

The best way to prepare your child is by attending Mass weekly on Saturdays or Sundays.  At the 11am Sunday Mass, children are dismissed for the Children’s Liturgy of the Word to the Msgr. Nugent room where they hear the scripture at a level they may comprehend. They return for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

 

Our children will receive the Sacrament of First Communion on Sunday, May 4th, 2024 at 11am Mass.
